The cultural-artistic society "Ekrem Mujkić" which is named by its long-time worthy member, the soldier of the BiH Army who died defending his people and country 1993, the association has carried on with the tradition of amateurish folklore ensemble established in 1951. Today it is the most successful ensemble of the Ilidža Municipality. It deserves special credits for its gathering a great number of members even in the hardest periods of war, in the time of fighting just to survive, the survival of our people and the perseverance of our rich music and folklore tradition. Besides the numerous performances in Sarajevo and other cities in BiH, in the years 1997 and 1998 the audience in France (Paris, Strasburg, and St. Chaumont) enjoyed in the beauty of the dances and songs of its diligent members.
