The Cultural – Artistic Association  "Bjelašnica" – Pazarić has existed and successfully worked for five decades already, it has achieved many good results, what makes it one of the well – known cultural – artistic

associations in the Sarajevo Canton. In its 50 years long history, thanks to the enthusiasm of its members, the association has visited all significant festivals in former Yugoslavia and in Europe, especially good results they have achieved on the International festival of folklore in Zagreb. On the all – night concerts in the Swiss town Zurich, where we, thanks to the specific custom of marriage on the mountain Bjelašnica, have been one of the most asked for association in BiH.

Now the association, in three types of activities, gathers around 60 active members aged between 7 and 77, who, by singing and dancing, try to keep the traditions and customs of the peoples in BiH away from sinking into oblivion. In the last few years we managed to renew the pre – war program contents and we supplied our members with the equipment and costumes, so we got the conditions to perform for the folklore lovers outside of our country.
